Branding is much more than designing a logo. It is a comprehensive approach to capturing the spirit and personality of your organization. We have years of experience managing brand programs from both the client side and the creative side. These are just a few examples of our efforts.
Vermont Veterans' Home
Commissioned to develop a marketing plan for the State of Vermont's Veterans nursing home, our first step was designing this branding program applied to a range of outreach and marketing materials.
Southworth Company
While creative director at Southworth, Dave Van de Water designed this distinctive mark for the well-known manufacturer of business stationery and resume papers.
Battencroft Farm
This identity was created for a concept enterprise that produces artisan foods and products that reflect Vermont farm to table culture. The mark represented a grove of monumental black locust trees surrounding our 1870 farmhouse alongside the Battenkill.
Monadnock On Target
This whimsical symbol was applied to a range of support materials for a target account sales campaign we created to help the sales team reach elite design firms.
Saltwater Institute
This brandmark was designed for a values-based leadership institute formed by Tom Chappell, former CEO of Tom's of Maine.
Southern Vermont Arts Center: The Tartan Ball
This graphic was applied to a wide range of event materials promoting a major benefit gala for a regional arts center.
Monadnock Paper Mills Branding
After a new logotype was created for our client, we expanded on the design and developed a brand vocabulary and lock-up for all packaging and marketing materials. As the symbol was based on the local Algonquin phrase for Monadnock — The One Who Stands Alone — we adopted a motif based on elite mountain climbing. We coined the tagline "Need a Climbing Partner" as an expression of the company's common interest in helping its customers achieve greater heights of excellence in design and printing.
