How We Work

We are a branding and graphic design firm located in the Battenkill Valley of southern Vermont. We create communication graphics, branding programs and product designs for an exceptional group of businesses and non-profit organizations. 

While we are experienced in all aspects of marketing communications, our focus is on thinking, writing and designing. As we do our work, we strive to tell your story in a way that is clear, relevant, and memorable.  

Presenting the facts is only a part of it. Knowing how to build a narrative and a visual presence that make people care about you, your mission and your brand is what sets us apart. 

We know that in this fast-paced world, it is not enough just to make contact with your audience. You have to connect with them in a way that inspires them to action. 

Our work can be described as classic design shaped by the landscape and culture of the places we have lived—New England, California, and Colorado. It is known for simplicity, clear language and strong imagery, with an emphasis on detail and quality materials. 

We believe that design shouldn’t be the first thing your readers see. Instead, it should be a supporting frame for the words and pictures that tell your story. It should be timeless, not trendy.

We also know that to make the most impact, your story should unfold at a comfortable pace, presenting the main points quickly through images and headlines before progressing through additional layers of increasing detail. Strong, clear imagery solidifies the emotional connection.
